About Andala Wellness
Our Story
We created Andala Wellness out of a simple but powerful truth: health is never one-dimensional. For too long, wellness has been presented as one-size-fits-all — one diet, one workout, one quick fix. But real health is deeper. It touches every part of life: how we sleep, how we recover, how we move, how we connect, and how we find meaning.
Andala was born when two paths crossed. Andrei, with over a decade of experience in personal training, nutrition, yoga, and Ayurveda, and Alana, a teacher and yoga guide who brings lived experience of stress, burnout, and recovery, met in Mallorca during a yoga teacher training. Together, they discovered that their approaches complemented one another — one rooted in drive and discipline, the other in restoration and self-care. Blending their names became symbolic of blending their philosophies: Andala is union, balance, and growth.
Meet Alana
Alana grew up in Ireland surrounded by nature and community. A lifelong mover, she began with sports and dance before discovering yoga as a teenager during stressful exam years. What started as a way to ease exam pressure quickly became her anchor — grounding her body and calming her mind. Later, while working as a primary school teacher, Alana saw firsthand how stress and burnout were affecting both her colleagues and herself. This lived experience now fuels her mission: to guide teachers and professionals toward simple, restorative practices that help them reset, recover, and bring calm back into daily life.
Alongside her teaching background, Alana is certified in Precision Nutrition PN1 and SSR1 , as well as Yoga Nidra and Yin Yoga. These practices are not just professional skills — they are part of her daily life. She embodies what she teaches: rest, nutrition, and the courage to slow down. Her strength lies in showing others that self-care can be practical, sustainable, and deeply transformative.
Meet Andrei
Andrei grew up in Bucharest, Romania. Childhood was full of outdoor play, but as screens took over, long hours at the computer left him with a herniated disc and back atrophy. Instead of surgery, he chose to rebuild his health through strength training, yoga, and study. This turning point sparked a lifelong commitment to exploring how movement, nutrition, and recovery intersect.
Over the years, he earned certifications in personal training, nutrition, yoga, Ayurveda, and recovery science. Meditation also became central to his practice — a way to steady the mind and integrate all dimensions of health. His focus today is simple: helping each person find a path that fits their body, mind, and life.
The Andala Way
We believe health is not about doing more — it’s about doing what matters. Rest is not lazy. Stress is not weakness. Recovery is not optional. These are the foundations of resilience. Our approach is:
Rooted in Deep Health: True well-being means thriving across six dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, social, environmental, and existential.
Centered on Bio-Individuality: No two people are the same. What works for one may not work for another. We help you discover what works for you.
Bridging Tradition and Science: Ancient yogic practices meet modern evidence-based tools — Yoga Nidra with neuroscience, Ayurveda with functional nutrition, mindfulness with recovery science.
Community Driven: Healing happens together. We grow in health when we share, connect, and hold each other accountable.

Why We Start with Sleep, Stress & Recovery
Teachers, professionals, and caregivers often give to everyone but themselves. The result? Exhaustion, burnout, restless nights, and constant overwhelm.
At Andala, we start with SSR — Sleep, Stress, and Recovery — because you can’t pour from an empty cup. When you restore your energy, everything else becomes possible: movement, nutrition, connection, meaning.
At Andala, our training is more than certificates — it’s the foundation of how we guide you.
Here’s what that means for you:
Grounded in Tradition
We’ve studied Yoga and Ayurveda in their authentic roots, blending philosophy with practice so you receive tools that are timeless, not trendy.
Backed by Science
With certifications in Precision Nutrition PN1 and SSR1, our approach is evidence-based and practical, giving you clarity in food and recovery.
Lived, Not Just Learned
Over 20 years of combined experience, advanced Yoga Alliance certifications, and restorative studies in Yin and Yoga Nidra shape the way we live and teach. Every practice we share is something we embody ourselves.
Our Invitation
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about steady, sustainable practices that meet you where you are.
At Andala, you are not alone. We walk beside you, guiding small, consistent steps that transform into lasting change.
